Dancing in the Moonlight

Last week i had started to realize my passion for Astronomy. I found myself working on my explorations and theories of the sky more often. I had overheard someone had invented a telescope, to this day i still do not know who thought of it, but I invented one of my own and i've been practicing looking at the stars with it. I recently found the satellites on Jupiter, but what i am most puzzled about is the moon. It's such a large part of the earth and unique. From far away it looks as if it was a perfect circle, but while examining it i saw it was rigid. After nights of looking at the sky, i almost gave up, until yesterday morning i had a pancake for breakfast and saw that when my pancake was ready to be flipped, looked exactly like the moon! The moon doesn't have ridges, it has craters! I had discovered the texture of the moon from my breakfast! (:  This past week has been very exciting with my new invention of the telescope AND a deeper exploration of the planets.
